Mission/Goals:
In order to love as God loves, the mission of our Stewardship Ministry is to help God's people grow in their relationship with Jesus through the use of time, talents, and finances God has entrusted to them (us). Our simple goal is to excite and educate the congregation of Grace Lutheran Church on the rewards of Stewardship. Our focus is on the giver's needs to give, not the church's need to receive.
Responsibilities/Activities:
-Pledge Campaign: plan, organize and execute the Pony Express with emphasis on “Simply Giving and to send thank you notes after the campaign;
-Thank You Presentation to the congregation on Stewardship Sunday, with cake and coffee following the service;
-Organize a Talent Fair to invite new members to participate in various committees;
-Occasionally do a Recognition Sunday;
-Enjoy a Stewardship Committee Potluck at the home of a member;
-Periodic Special Purpose Fund Raising Campaigns.
Dreams for Your Committee: For all members of Grace to prayerfully consider the generous sharing of their time, talents and resources to the Glory of God.
